Sept 2011 Back to School

I start pre-kindergarten at my new school! Didi and I start our swimming, skating, soccer, ballerina and music classes again.

Sept 4/2011 Disney Cruise - professional photos

Disney is quite the marketing machine. We had lots of photos taken during the trip. The professional photographers were amazing! So many squirmy children, so little time. Compare these pictures to our own.

They even took one as we boarded. DiDi was fast asleep.

Sept 3/2011 Disney Cruise - pictures with the characters

Character breakfasts, improptu sightings in the lobbies and hallways, in the Oceaneers Club, at the Princess tea. It was great! Mommy and Daddy think it was better than the sightings at the actual Disneyland.

We eventually got into the pool. It was a pleasant 28 C! But, notice the adults in the back? They're standing in their parkas, with hot cocoas. It was cold outside and the water from the pool was steaming. I loved the water slide too. DiDi stayed in the Mickey ears pools.

Sept 2/2011 Disney Cruise - the sights

We sailed up the coast of BC. There was no cell phone signal about 1-2 hours after departure. Mommy and Daddy were not expecting that... no iPhone or Blackberry?! They couldn't do any work. Oh well, more time to play with us!

This was the Tracy Arm glacier. Blue ice floating all around it. We docked in Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan, Alaska. It was rainy and chilly most of the time. Alaskan end of summer weather.
