May 11, 2008 - Happy 1st Birthday!

I'm a whole year old today. I can walk along pretty quickly, climb up and down the stairs by myself and babble a lot. I can sign a few things....mainly, "feed me". I have 5 teeth and eat almost whatever you put in front of me. I can sleep through the night. Pretty good learning for my first year of life!



YehYeh and MahMah threw me a huge birthday party with all the Aunties, Uncles and Cousins.

Now, you must wonder where Mommy and Daddy are. They're somewhere called Italy. Daddy has a "conference". Apparently, my incessant need for mid-day naps and lack of stamina for late night carousing during our Australia trip meant that I'm not invited to travel abroad again until I'm 10.

So you go ahead and eat your Parmesan, Mommy.



And you go ahead with your Prosciutto and Speck, Daddy. Just remember to bring me lots of treats please! And... by the way, you owe me a birthday party when you get back.

Mornings in my Crib

Uncle Dan has a superduper fancy camera. He took some pix for Mommy and Daddy. They look studio quality!

Here I am bright and early in the morning. I'm good at entertaining myself for a couple of hours before my parents wake up.

Brunch at Granville Island

Uncle Dan and Auntie Sabrina were visiting this week. We went for brunch on Sunday at the market. I'm toddling around quickly these days.



Yay! I get puff pastry from my parents' pot pies. Can you see my 5 teeth? A fifth tooth showed up this week, bottom left.
