Go Canucks Go!

It's the Stanley Cup playoffs. DiDi is all decked out with Daddy. Now, where is my hockey towel?

May 5/09 - 3.5 months old and DiDi is growing fast

DiDi is almost 3.5 months old. He's grown so much. I think he weighs 18 lbs..much too heavy for me to lift.

In these past 2 months, my conversation skills have grown by leaps and bounds (Mommy calls me a chatterbox). DiDi's head control has also vastly improved. He can sit in my Bumbo now!

May 4/09 - a visit from Maddie and Lucas

Auntie B and Uncle D visited us from Toronto. I got to play with Maddie and Lucas. DiDi just watched us.

I wasn't too good with sharing at first, but I eventually warmed up. I even gave Maddie a hug.

Uncle D's new camera lens was so powerful, it captured my runny nose and watery eyes. Sorry, I got sick the morning of your visit. Hope you didn't catch anything from me. Thanks for the bathtub toy and swim suit!

It's a "Ruff 'n Tumble" alright. Whee! DiDi, you can play later.

April 26/09 - My Party Room

Daddy was away for the weekend and so, Mommy brought this home today. They're the same balls as at swimming class. I washed all of them in the kitchen sink and bathtub. It's rather comfortable.

DiDi can continue sleeping on tummies. He's too little to play in my party room.

April 25/09 - So Many Strollers

With the arrival of my little brother, we have accumulated another stroller. As you can see in the pictures at Granville Island, Mommy had to cart along 2 strollers whenever we both went out. Another reason for the minivan.

Although I don't usually like sitting anymore, I need a stroller from when I'm tired. Mommy tested out Auntie Juliet's Phil & Ted's double stroller and liked it!

Here we are on a trip out to Cambie Street's grand re-opening. The Phil & Ted's stroller looks rather sleek doesn't it? I get the front seat of course!

DiDi gets to lie down. He's totally tucked away behind me. Do you see where he's resting? He gets to sit up behind me later when he's older. For now, when I dump out my water bottle on my lap, he gets some too.

Mommy likes the swivel front wheel..makes crowd dodging that much easier.

Now, when I go to the mall, it's a different story. I get to rent one! Here's my mall ride.

DiDi gets to sleep in the Bug bassinet. I must say, our front foyer is a parking lot.

DaDa's Doppleganger

DiDi looks more like Daddy as a baby than I did.

Me at 9 months old last year.

April 12/09 - Easter Weekend with Emily

It was my second Easter and Emily invited me over for an Easter egg hunt.

Now, how many have I found?

I wasn't sure what the point of finding these eggs were. After Emily showed me they were made of chocolate, I wouldn't let them go. So much chocolate!

Notice how engrossed I am with my (first ever) chocolate eggs? I ate too much and threw up my lunch in bed at naptime -- Mommy was so pleased. Thanks for inviting us Em! I had so much fun!

Happy 40th Birthday DaDa!

DaDa turned 40 in March. Mommy took him to Kobe and DiDi got to go. Not fair since I had to stay home -- it started way past my bedtime. But, as you can see, I'm all ready to go. Got my shoes on!

That's what happened when DaDa blew out his 40 candles.

Here's DiDi and Ronan, parked across from each other.

He was sound asleep during dinner despite there being some noise from the neighbouring tables.

We went out for another dinner the next day. It started much earlier so I could go too.

Yummy birthday cake! It's all about icing for me.
