Why the iPad isn't a good idea for children

I'm quite proficient at using the iPad. But, DiDi always wants to see what I'm doing. Mommy says that the iPad is like crack.

The Last Days of Summer - a Playdate

It's the end of summer and we had a small backyard BBQ. The parents had food while Em, Lukie, DiDi and I had popsicles. Soggy doggy and the wading pool came out for a visit.

Arts and Craps

Mommy has accumulated a huge collection of arts and craps. I like making stuff with her. DiDi likes playing with all the paper. He even has his monster dump trunk to scoop up the mess.

Mommy was asked the other day if I had modeled. One of my preschool teachers thought it was me on the cover of her teaching manual. Take a look! Is that me?

Making Friends

I see a lot of my community centre friends across the street. Mar is a regular, just like DiDi and I.

But, I like chatting up all the little boys and girls I meet. DiDi, not so much. Here is Zachary. He wasn't allowed out of his stroller.

Aug 12/10 Happy Birthday MahMah!

We went for dinner to celebrate MahMah's birthday. No pictures, because the birthday cake was brought out when Mommy was in the bathroom. But dinner was yummy!

Aug 8/10 - Congratulations Auntie Harp!

We went to Auntie Harp's wedding. DiDi and I got to put on headcovers before going into the temple. We took off our shoes and sat one opposite sides, one for the boys and one for the girls. DiDi even put on his suit like DaDa.

The neighbourhood cat, Mr. Steven Francis

Mr. Steven Francis is quite the cat.
He comes by at all hours to get a snack.
I leave him a dish of water outback.
He just can't come in our shack;
otherwise, he would be just like the Cat in the Hat!

My little brother loves to eat. He has a bottomless stomach. He sometimes eats my food too!

Like My Racoon House?

I love building things with my blocks. Here is a racoon house for the backyard animals. Next week, a house for the neighbourhood cat.
