After school, mommy & I went to pick up the balloons for my joint birthday party with my classmates, N and W. whoa! So many balloons!
I really like holding onto so many balloons... think I'll fly away?
I helped mommy by grabbing a bunch of balloons and crawling into the back trunk, to pull the balloon clusters into our minivan. Yup, we fit 70 in there!
There's just enough room left for me
Mommy had to corral the balloons a bit in order to drive safely. We made it home! But mommy left them in the car overnight. She dropped them off directly at the arena.

Happy Mother's Day!
We invites our mommies for lemonade and cupcakes. We made thumbprint necklaces out of Femo and cord. Isn't it beautiful? I also printed out a poem about butterflies, on parchment, for Mommy. I drew all the background flowers and taped my poem overtop.
We planted sweet peas and other flowers to be ready later on. We also grew vegetables to harvest with the new Junior K class in the fall. Such lovely dirt.
Smile!

All smiles!
We had Mommy at home this weekend. Daddy was away at a conference. Yay! No set bedtime! No discipline!

The Extraordinary Seed
Here is my class tree. We built the trunk from boxes, made branches and placed leaves written with gift wishes for the children in Ethiopia. Water, food, schools, love and toys.
We sold our crafts to our parents to raise money for Ethiopia.
This is my zebra named "Stripes". He lives in the savannah.
These are our African animals.
Our caterpillar larvae are growing. Mommy thought they were granola snacks to go.
Our opera performance of "the extraordinary seed". Applause please.
